THE VISION
Everyone wants a life of meaning and purpose. Everyone wants to find a community where they can experience freedom, wholeness, beauty, and belonging.
The problem is that we live in a fallen world, and as much as we love our community, we also recognize that it is not what it could be and should be. Instead of a place of belonging, we live in a place that’s divided by wealth, race, politics, and religion. Instead of beauty and wholeness we have broken families and broken lives. Instead of freedom we have rampant addiction and human trafficking.
We believe that Jesus has so much more for us and for our community. Jesus is on a mission to make wrong things right, broken things whole, old things new, and set captives free. He wants to do that in us, and in Plain Township, and we want to join Jesus on His mission.
We believe it starts by growing deep and wide in our faith together. As we grow deep in the love of Jesus, we will grow wide in our reach to the community. Our dream is to be a local church that grows deep and wide together. We want to experience the freedom, wholeness, beauty, and belonging that Jesus offers. And we want to join Jesus in bringing that to every home, and every neighborhood in Plain township and beyond.
