WHAT IS CYCLE OF ROOTS?
(COR)

COR is an annual set of courses designed to grow and deepen our roots in Jesus. The heart of Jesus’ teaching is loving God with all that we are, and loving our neighbors as ourselves
(Matthew 22:37-39).

We passionately believe that COR provides the foundational tools necessary to accelerate one’s growth in loving God and loving their neighbors well.

FAQS

Do I Have to Go Through All the Courses in One Year?
The short answer is no! Just as our formation in Christ is not linear, neither is COR. In fact, we chose the word “cycle” intentionally, as COR is designed for you to jump in and out as you have availability. While you can go through the courses in order, you can also jump in anytime and finish anytime. Since these courses will be offered on an annual basis, our desire is simply to see everyone who calls RedOaks home complete all four courses.

Who is COR for?
Everyone! Whether you’ve followed Jesus your entire life, or are just beginning your walk with Him, COR is for you and offers tremendous growth opportunities for everyone. When you complete COR, there will be COR Electives offered regularly so you can keep growing.

Is there a cost to COR?
It is free to go through COR. While each course requires you to purchase one or more books, we will never let cost be a barrier, so we offer scholarships for book costs when necessary.
